See the bald guy with the goofy grin over there? That’s me.
I’m a vice president at Delphi Forums, a network of user-created, user-managed online communities. I’ve been involved with Delphi Forums on-and-off since 1999, so I’ve been around online communities for a long time.
Before that, I was a business news blogger (though we didn’t use the word “blogger” back then) for the NewsPage online business news service and Netscape Business Journal (both of which are now defunct).
On the side, I help comedian Jeffrey Ross with online marketing and social media.
Before getting into the online media business, I was a broadcast journalist for ten years. I won several awards for my work in radio news and my reports appeared on CBS Radio, AP Radio News and the BBC.
As you might guess from my background, my interests and expertise include online communities, social media, and user-generated content.
I live in the Boston area with my wife, three kids, a cat and bunch of fish.
